- Married to my late wife Margaret for 42 years with 1 daughter (Karen Marie) & 2 granddaughters (Cecilia Marie studying Psychology at Sunderland University & Caitlin Victoria completing 'A' levels at Newcastle College). Retired from banking in 1991 aged 53. Following the death of Margaret I met my present wife (Theresa Ann) on pilgrimage to Boulogne in France with the KSC. In 2006 I was elected to the Board of Directors of the KSC serving until 2009 when I decided not to seek re-election. We married in 2006 with Missa Solemnis for our Nuptial Mass & 3 choirs singing. In June 2011 I was invested as a Knight of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem (KHS) by Archbishop McDonald at St George's Cathedral in Southwark, London
